Firebird’s outreach project “Firebird for Schools” aims to bring the magical world of orchestral music to local schoolchildren.

In recent years the project has been narrated by Nickolas Grace, Ian Hislop and Robert Bathurst. Over 700 children from 12 schools have taken part so far – and even more will this year.

Entrance is free of charge to children from participating schools, who will enjoy an excitingly memorable introduction to the orchestra through Mozart’s Overture to the Marriage of Figaro and Prokofiev’s Peter & the Wolf.
