Programme for tonight’s concert: 9 June 2026
In the final concert of our 14th Annual Season we pair two Russian late romantic works – Tchaikovsky’s ever-popular Piano Concerto no. 1 and Rachmaninoff’s serenely beautiful Symphony no. 2. Our very own George Jackson is conducting and artistic director Marc Corbett-Weaver is joining the orchestra as soloist for the Tchaikovsky – a piece which has always been very close to his heart.
