We are delighted that it has become possible for our orchestra to perform again and hope that many of our supporters will join us at the concerts.
For the present time we are focusing on string, keyboard and percussion performances, avoiding wind, brass and singing. We hope to balance this by increasing the involvement of wind, brass and singing in future programmes.
Tickets for our autumn concerts are offered to members of Firebird’s Friends & Benefactors Society only, in view of the reduce capacity. The Artistic Director is contacting members directly.
It is obligatory for everyone inside the venue – including all audience members (but except performers when they are on stage) – to wear face masks. A range of important safety measures will be in place at the event. Full details of our Covid-19 policy can be found here.
Each event will also be available for online viewing, via our website and social media, a few days after the concert. We have planned our programmes very carefully. However; if, for reasons of artists’ availability being affected by regulations, we have to alter repertoire we hope our audience will understand. Should a concert have to be postponed due to the pandemic, we will offer all ticket-holders a full refund.
