Evocative landscapes, both wild and sublime are brought to life in the captivating music of Mendelssohn and Beethoven in this opening orchestral concert of the seres. These two works frame Mozart’s exquisite concerto for the new instrument of the time – the clarinet.
London Firebird Orchestra is delighted to welcome back Jonathan Bloxham to the podium after his recent appointment as Associate conductor of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. The soloists in the Mozart will be one of Britain’s leading clarinettists, Matthew Hunt.
